Fans are convinced they\u2019ve solved subtle clues dropped by My Chemical Romance<\/a> and figured out when they\u2019ll be releasing new music.<\/p>\n The emo giants\u00a0are currently on their \u2018Long Live The Black Parade\u2019 tour<\/a>, celebrating the 20th anniversary of their seminal 2006 album, with much of the speculation about new material coming from apparent easter eggs at their recent live dates.<\/p>\n Gerard Way<\/a> and co. have employed one prop consistently throughout \u2013 a faux time clock each member punches in on as they clock in for their shift as fictional members of The Black Parade band.<\/p>\n As noted by Loudwire<\/em><\/a>, a close-up photo of the time clock from their August 29 stop at Chicago\u2019s Soldier Field revealed the clock is set to 12:12, leading fans to believe new music could drop on December 12.<\/p>\n Their fans also seized on a moment when Way took a swig from a large flask emblazoned with Keposhka text, a fictitious language with its own font created specifically for the tour. Eagled-eyed fans then tried to decode the text, which they claimed read: \u201cMCR. G. Way. 101386.\u201d<\/p>\n They instantly ruled out his birthdate, given he was born in 1977, and instead theorised that because the 1986 calendar matches day-for-day with this year\u2019s, new music could be coming on October 13.<\/p>\n It\u2019s worth noting that the October theory seems more unlikely, not only because fans are still slightly befuddled by the accuracy of their Keposhka code, but also given major releases are typically shared on Fridays.<\/p>\n Earlier this month, the band announced\u00a0two shows planned at London\u2019s Wembley Stadium<\/a>, with the dates seeing them head to the capital on July 10 and 11 next year.<\/p>\n Gerard Way<\/a>\u00a0and co. started teasing the news with\u00a0a video clip depicting an old-school TV game show<\/a>.\u00a0 Within hours of tickets going live, fans took to social media to lament to scramble for tickets the two upcoming events.<\/p>\n My Chemical Romance last performed in the UK as part of their reunion tour in 2022, with\u00a0dates taking place in Milton Keynes<\/a>, Cornwall, Dublin, Warrington, Cardiff and Glasgow.<\/p>\n At their latest run of gigs, the band are playing their 2006 third album \u2018The Black Parade\u2019 in full along with rarities from that era and some hits. They\u2019ve also used the US dates to\u00a0debut an unreleased song titled \u2018War Beneath The Rain\u2019<\/a>, and treat fans to\u00a0a surprise cover of The Smashing Pumpkins\u2019 \u2018Bullet With Butterfly Wings\u2019<\/a>.<\/p>\n Support has been coming from a variety of\u00a0different hand-selected artists<\/a>, including\u00a0Violent Femmes<\/a>,\u00a0100 Gecs<\/a>,\u00a0Wallows<\/a>,\u00a0Garbage<\/a>,\u00a0Death Cab For Cutie\u00a0<\/a>and\u00a0Thursday<\/a>,\u00a0Alice Cooper<\/a>,\u00a0Pixies<\/a>,\u00a0IDLES<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Evanescence<\/a>.<\/p>\n They were recently joined onstage by The Smashing Pumpkins<\/a>\u2018\u00a0Billy Corgan<\/a> to perform \u2018Bullet with Butterfly Wings\u2019 together<\/a>.<\/p>\n As well as playing live, MCR also\u00a0released a deluxe 21st anniversary reissue<\/a> of their second album \u2018Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge\u2019 in June.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n
