On New Heights<\/em>, Travis Kelce spoke for the first time about his engagement to Taylor Swift.<\/em><\/li>\n
The NFL star said he \u201cstill gets giddy\u201d when introducing her as his fianc\u00e9e and admitted he hasn\u2019t thought about planning a bachelor party yet.<\/li>\n
Kelce also shared his advice for proposals: \u201cKnow your partner… do it for the right reasons.\u201d <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n
Travis Kelce is opening up about his engagement to Taylor Swift for the first time since they announced the news last week.<\/p>\n
On the September 3 episode of his New Heights<\/em> podcast, Travis spoke about the milestone with his brother and co-host Jason Kelce, who kicked off the conversation by saying, \u201cWell, in case you missed the Instagram post heard around the world, Travis and Taylor are engaged.\u201d<\/p>\n\n
Travis then thanked Jason for congratulating him (both on and off the podcast) before sharing, \u201cI appreciate everybody that reached out and sent something, and all the posts and all the excitement that\u2019s been going on. It\u2019s been really fun telling everybody who I\u2019m going to be spending the rest of my life with.\u201d<\/p>\n\n
He added that this past week has been \u201cawesome\u201d and that he\u2019s enjoyed referring to Swift as his fianc\u00e9e. \u201cI felt that at the game, actually. It was my first time introducing Taylor as my fianc\u00e9e to a few of my teammates. So yeah, it was pretty cool. I still get giddy [saying it]. I love it. It\u2019s exciting times.\u201d He also mentioned that he hasn\u2019t thought about planning a bachelor party yet.<\/p>\n
The conversation then turned to engagement advice. Jason asked if Travis had any pointers for podcast listeners who may be proposing soon. \u201cMan, you got to know your gal, or your significant other,\u201d he said. \u201cYou got to know them. You might be able to get some ideas from how other people did it, but I would just say know your partner, know who you\u2019re doing it for, and do it for the right reasons, baby. Everything else will be beautiful.\u201d <\/p>\n
