The Dancing with the Stars<\/em> alum explained that he and wife Hayley Erbert Hough want to keep that information private<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n The couple announced in July that they’re expecting their first baby together<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Derek Hough<\/a> is excited to be a dad – but he won’t be sharing if he’s having a boy or girl anytime soon.<\/p>\n The Dancing with the Stars<\/em> alum, 40, appeared on a Wednesday, Sept. 3 episode of Live with Kelly and Mark<\/em> and spoke about how he’s expecting his first baby with his wife, Hayley Erbert Hough. As he shared how excited he is for this next chapter, Hough was asked by Mark Consuelos about his sex reveal, which is in black and white.<\/p>\n “Yeah. You know, there\u2019s not a lot of surprises in life, right? We\u2019re going to keep that one to ourselves,” Hough explained. “So yeah, it\u2019s going to be exciting. Wearing a body con yellow dress, Erbert Hough could be seen answering questions in the video.<\/p>\n “What will Baby Hough be?! \ud83e\ude77\ud83d\udc99,” she asked in her caption.<\/p>\n Back in July, Hough and his wife announced they’re expecting their first baby together<\/a>, sharing the exciting news with a\u00a0sweet video<\/a>\u00a0on Instagram.<\/p>\n In the heartwarming clip, Hough walked over to his wife and the two embraced while overlooking a scenic view. As they hugged, Erbert Hough flashed a strip of sonogram photos at the camera as the couple smiled and swayed in the sunlight.<\/p>\n “We can\u2019t believe the biggest thing to happen to us could be so small \u2665\ufe0f,” the couple captioned their joint video post.<\/p>\n In September 2024, Hough spoke to E! News<\/em><\/a>\u00a0about how he and his wife were looking forward to expanding their family dance crew with a few little ones.<\/p>\n “We definitely want to have a family eventually,\u201d he told the outlet. \u201cWe’ll see what’s in the cards, what’s on the horizon.
