PHOENIX (AZFamily) <\/b>\u2014 You\u2019ll find Selin Eskandarian playing at a romantic wedding or a rocking party. Her love affair with the violin began in childhood at just 11 years old.<\/p>\n

She was in the fifth, sixth and seventh-grade orchestra, but never took private lessons. The musician says she is 90 percent self-taught. She began playing the violin professionally about 25 years ago, singing and playing with various bands and groups.<\/p>\n

In 2020, she decided to go out on her own and start her own business, Esko Violin. She creates beautiful music for weddings, corporate and celebrity events. She entertains with her lit-up violin, performing crowd-pleasing cover songs. Eskandarian is quite literally a one-woman band as she provides her own sound system with backing tracks to accompany her live music. <\/p>\n

Eskandarian says she loves her job because she gets to touch people\u2019s lives with her music \u2014 and be her own boss! She says it\u2019s special because there are not a lot of professional violinists out there, and it\u2019s something unique and niche. Whether somber or celebratory, Eskandarian really knows how to wow her audience.<\/p>\n
