Ed Sheeran<\/strong> often visits schools to speak to kids about music education and songwriting, and now you\u2019ll be able to see him do it on YouTube.<\/p>\n Ed is one of the \u201cteachers<\/a>\u201d on the second season of the digital series Celebrity Substitute<\/a>, which features celebrities surprising kids at public schools and attempting to teach them what they\u2019re famous for. Season\u00a01 included Andrew Garfield<\/strong> and Florence Pugh<\/strong> teaching acting, Billie Eilish<\/strong> teaching songwriting and Kenan Thompson<\/strong> teaching improv comedy.<\/p>\n Other \u201cteachers\u201d this year include\u00a0Rene\u00e9 Rapp<\/strong>, Gigi Hadid <\/strong>and\u00a0Malala Yousafzai<\/strong>. The first episode drops Sept. 10, with Rapp in the classroom. The show is executive produced by the songwriting team Benj Pasek<\/strong> and Justin Paul<\/strong>, who brought you the music for Dear Evan Hansen, La La Land, The Greatest Showman, and many other TV shows and films.<\/p>\n In other Ed Sheeran news, he\u2019s continuing his PLAY album rollout with a series of\u00a0\u201cmore intimate\u201d\u00a0shows<\/a>\u00a0in Europe and the U.K. Well, they\u2019re \u201cintimate\u201d in that they\u2019re not stadium shows, which is what he\u2019s been doing lately.
