Saving Abel<\/a>‘s Jared Weeks<\/a> joined Loudwire Nights<\/em><\/a> on Tuesday (Sept. 2) to dive into his band’s new music<\/a> as well as open up about why it’s so important for him to stay healthy these days.<\/p>\n Listen to the full conversation in the player near the end of this article.<\/p>\n “How do I stay sober and keep my mental capacity where it’s at \u2014 well, to tell you the truth, just being transparent, I’m not successful at that every day,” Weeks told Loudwire Nights<\/em>‘ Chuck Armstrong<\/a>.<\/p>\n “Sometimes you come off tour and you’re trying to decompress and I’ve got three kids and three dogs. Sometimes it’s like coming home and trying to decompress in a pot of boiling water.”<\/p>\n As Weeks said that, he quickly shared that’s why therapy has been so important to him and why he seeks to learn more about himself every single day.<\/p>\n “I do my shadow work,” he explained.<\/p>\n “That’s just the stuff that you’re not happy with, that you don’t like about yourself.
