An official date has been set for Kelly Clarkson<\/strong>\u2019s return to TV<\/a> following the tragic death of her ex-husband Brandon Blackstock<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Season 7 of her eponymous talk show \u2014 which is filmed in front of a live audience in New York City \u2014 will premiere on September 29, according to an NBC press release, via Page Six<\/a>.<\/p>\n Celebrities including Julia Roberts<\/strong>, Dwayne Johnson<\/strong>, Matthew McConaughey<\/strong>, Channing Tatum<\/strong> and Reese Witherspoon<\/strong> are scheduled to appear on the show when production begins the week of September 8, according to Deadline<\/a>.<\/p>\n During the first week of the show, Clarkson, who had to cancel her performance at Miranda Lambert<\/strong>\u2019s Texas flood relief benefit in August following Blackstock\u2019s death, will pay tribute to the heroes who rescued campers during the disaster in July.<\/p>\n Faye Sadou\/AdMedia\/Newscom\/The Mega Agency<\/span><\/p>\n Though the American Idol winner, 43, is appearing in her pre-recorded Songs & Stories<\/a> specials in August and September, she had put some of her other commitments on hold.<\/p>\n On August 6, the day before Blackstock died at 48 following a lengthy battle with melanoma, Clarkson postponed shows in her Las Vegas residency.<\/p>\n \u201cWhile I normally keep my personal life private, this past year, my children\u2019s father has been ill.
