A spot in the Grand Finale is up for grabs in tonight\u2019s episode of MasterChef<\/em>. The Top 4 duos face their biggest test yet in a high-pressure semifinal showdown. In \u201cKeeping Up With Gordon \u2013 Tag Team Style!,\u201d the chefs must match Gordon Ramsay<\/strong>\u2019s speed and precision while recreating one of his Michelin-starred dishes \u2014 but there\u2019s a twist. This time, it\u2019s a brutal tag-team challenge, forcing partners to swap in and out mid-dish as the clock ticks down, sending the kitchen into total chaos. The iconic “Keeping Up With Gordon” competition will have the chef-testants cooking Buckwheat-Crusted Duck Breast with Parsnip Pur\u00e9e, Sweet & Sour Endive, Pickled Daikon & Cherries, and a Port Wine Sauce. Throughout the high-stakes challenge, the duos must tag-team every five minutes, trading off at the stove as they race to keep up with Gordon\u2019s precision and speed. In the end, the least successful duo will be eliminated from the competition.<\/p>\n hroughout the challenge, Jessica grows increasingly frustrated with Jesse, who\u2019s barking instructions like a sideline coach at a football game. \u201cThis challenge is keeping up with Gordon, not keeping up with Jesse!\u201d she snaps. \u201cIf I can\u2019t hear Gordon, then we\u2019re going home.\u201d<\/p>\n Rachel and Julio appear to have the strongest communication skills, with Julio calmly tracking Gordon\u2019s every move to ensure Rachel doesn\u2019t miss a single instruction. Across the kitchen, however, Zach and Michelle seem completely frazzled and are barely communicating at all. \u201cIt\u2019s like I\u2019m driving a Formula One car and just trying not to crash,\u201d Zach says \u2014 moments before accidentally smashing a glass bottle across his workstation.<\/p>\n Strangely quiet throughout the challenge were Tina and Aivan, who didn\u2019t exactly make it look easy but managed to keep their stress levels in check. When time expired, every team recognized they\u2019d made small mistakes \u2014 but which duo would be sent home just shy of the finale?<\/p>\n After examining each dish, the judges revealed the three duos advancing to the grand finale in this order: Rachel & Julio, Jessica & Jesse, and Tina & Aivan.<\/p>\nThe Contestants<\/h3>\n
