Cardi B<\/a>\u2019s wigs continue to be a topic of conversation both in and out of the courtroom.<\/p>\n Shortly after a jury determined she did not assault former security guard<\/a> Emani Ellis in 2018, the rapper spoke to reporters outside of a Los Angeles courthouse on Tuesday (Sept. 2) to thank the jurors, the judge, the \u201crespectful press,\u201d and \u201ceverybody at home\u201d for their support.<\/p>\n COMPLEX SHOP:<\/b> Shop the brands you love, anytime and anywhere. Obsess.<\/a><\/p>\n A reporter then pointed out in Spanish that the rapper wore a different wig for all five days of the trial.<\/p>\n \u201cI’m telling you guys, when I say that my forehead is raw from changing all these wigs,\u201d Cardi responded in English, making the reporters laugh. \u201cRaw, raw, raw, raw.\u201d<\/p>\n Cardi’s different wigs throughout the trial, which began on Aug. 26, prompted the plaintiff\u2019s attorney Ron Rosen to ask if her hair is real<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cYesterday, you had black hair, short hair. Today it\u2019s blond and long,\u201d Rosen said at the time. \u201cWhich one is your real hair, or are they both real?\u201d<\/p>\n Cardi let out a brief laugh before responding, \u201cThey\u2019re wigs.\u201d<\/p>\n Outside of the courtroom, Cardi also insisted to reporters that, despite her reputation, she did not assault Ellis and would begin countersuing<\/a> individuals who bring \u201cfrivolous\u201d lawsuits her way.<\/p>\n \u201cI swear to God I will say it in my deathbed: I did not touch that woman,” Cardi said. “I did not touch that girl, I didn’t lay my hands on that girl. With that being said, this time around I’m gonna be nice. The next person to try to do a frivolous lawsuit against me, I’m going to countersue and I’m gonna make you pay because this is not OK.”<\/p>\n \u201cI know I got a lil reputation,\u201d she added as the reporters around her laughed. \u201cBut I swear to God I’m innocent.\u201d<\/p>\n The \u201cEnough (Miami)\u201d rapper also asked her fans not to harass Ellis or her family on social media.<\/p>\n \u201cI hope that this is something that I leave behind, that she leaves behind,\u201d she said. \u201cDon’t go bother her. Don’t be talking about her, don’t be talking about how she looks. Don’t call her no nasty names.
