The wife of Dancing With the Stars<\/i><\/a> pro Brandon Armstrong<\/strong><\/a> is shedding insight into the show\u2019s chaotic casting process.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Brylee Armstrong<\/strong> posted an explanatory TikTok<\/span><\/a> on Wednesday, September 3, hours after Good Morning America<\/i> revealed the roster<\/span><\/a> of celebrities and professional dancers set to appear in season 34. Brandon, 31, was announced in a pairing with Fifth Harmony alum <\/span>Lauren Jauregui<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI woke up this morning to my phone absolutely blowing up from people so worried that Brandon didn\u2019t have a partner,\u201d Brylee, 27, said Wednesday. \u201cBecause GMA<\/i> released all the cast photos, all the partnerships, and Brandon and Lauren don\u2019t have [a photo].\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Brylee added, \u201cI should say they don\u2019t have one yet.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Fifth Harmony\u2019s Lauren Jauregui Found Out She Was Joining \u2018DWTS\u2019 2 Days Before Cast Reveal<\/a><\/p>\n She called the ABC dance competition \u201cBrandon\u2019s main gig,\u201d and said that he learned he was coming back to the show \u201cat the end of July.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThere have been years where he\u2019s gotten the call earlier, and there have been years where he\u2019s gotten the call a lot later,\u201d Brylee explained, adding, \u201cYou might wonder why they take so long to call the pros and offer them a job. And it is a very nerve-wracking thing because, like I said, nobody\u2019s promised a spot on the show.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n She continued, \u201cThey have to get a group of celebrities that are gonna be available for a big chunk of the year. It\u2019s like three to four months, so it just has to work out in their schedule. There\u2019s a lot that goes into the pairings for the actual partnership.
