Bethenny Frankel<\/strong><\/a> is opening up about her unexpected connection to Jennifer Aniston<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI dated Jennifer Aniston\u2019s boyfriend,\u201d the Real Housewives of New York City<\/em> alum, 54, said on the Tuesday, September 2, episode of her \u201cJust B With Bethenny Frankel\u201d<\/a> podcast, referring to hypnotist Jim Curtis<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Frankel called Curtis, 50, a \u201cnice guy\u201d but declined to delve deeper into their history. \u201cI\u2019m not going to get into too much detail out of respect for her relationship,\u201d she explained. \u201cI\u2019m happy for her.\u201d<\/p>\n

The former Bravo star estimated that she spent time with Curtis \u201cmaybe 10 years ago,\u201d noting that she was aware of his work in the \u201cwellness space.\u201d She added that Curtis has an \u201cearthiness\u201d to his personality that fits well with Aniston\u2019s own energy.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m happy for Jennifer Aniston because I do believe she wants to find love. I do believe it\u2019s been difficult, as I understand as well as anybody can, and I do believe she\u2019s sort of got that earthy, mellow side to her,\u201d Frankel continued. \u201cJust because she\u2019s an actress and successful \u2014 I give her a lot of credit for doing red carpets all these years and doing the same simple hairstyle. \u2026 It just reads very genuine. Frankel even went so far as to say she\u2019s \u201cbetting on\u201d the relationship working out. \u201c[She\u2019s] at a similar age where you have different priorities and you want peace, you want balance, you want support, you want love, you want nice, you want simple, you want easy, but you want to be challenged,\u201d Frankel explained, once again calling Curtis a \u201chandsome, nice man.\u201d<\/p>\n

Us Weekly<\/em> confirmed<\/a> in July that Aniston, 56, is dating Curtis after being set up by \u201cmutual friends.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThey are being super private, but have been spending a lot of time together,\u201d a source told Us<\/em> at the time. \u201cThey are happy and really into each other.\u201d<\/p>\n

Later that month, a close friend of the actress told Us<\/em> that the pair\u2019s romance is \u201cmoving pretty fast,\u201d adding, \u201cThey just get along so well.\u201d<\/p>\n
