Social media star Rolling Ray<\/strong> has died at age 28, his mother confirmed to TMZ<\/a> on Thursday, September 4.<\/span><\/p>\n

It remains clear how Ray died, reports the outlet. The popular influencer was due to turn 29 on Friday, September 5.<\/p>\n

News of Ray\u2019s death first circulated on Wednesday, September 3, after a Facebook post credited to his mother, Shazola Nay<\/strong>, gained attention on social media.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt is with a heavy heavy heart that I let you know that my son Ray Ray (@Iamrollingray) has gone home to be with the Lord,\u201d Nay allegedly wrote in a private update that leaked online. <\/span>\u201cI thank everyone who has called or texted, this is going to be a long road\u2026 Please pray for us as we push forward to lay him to rest.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
