Lady Gaga had to postpone her third Miami show on her 2025 \u201cMayhem Ball\u201d tour<\/a> at the last minute due to doctor\u2019s orders. <\/p>\n The \u201cPoker Face\u201d singer abruptly canceled her performance at the Kaseya Center on Wednesday, Sept. 3 shortly before she was set to take the stage, according to PEOPLE<\/a>. <\/p>\n Videos<\/a> on social media showed fans pouring out the arena after being informed of the last-minute postponement.<\/p>\n Gaga said in her Instagram<\/a> story that night that she was at risk of causing “permanent damage” to her vocal cords. <\/p>\n \u201cHi everyone. I am really so so sorry, but I need to postpone tonight\u2019s show in Miami. During rehearsal last night and my vocal warmup tonight, my voice was extremely strained and both my Dr. and vocal coach have advised me not to go on because of the risk it poses,\u201d she wrote. <\/p>\n \u201cI want to be hardcore and just push through this for you, but I don\u2019t want to risk long term or permanent damage on my vocal cords,\u201d Gaga continued. \u201cThere is a significant risk based on all our combined experience with a show like ours and as you know I sing live every night \u2014 and even though this was a hard and agonizing decision, I would be more afraid of the long term implications on my voice.\u201d<\/p>\n The pop superstar went on to offer her \u201csincerest apologies\u201d to her fans \u201cfor any disappointment, let down [or] inconvenience.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI am so so sorry. I tried so hard to avoid this. I take serious care of myself to be able to put on this highly demanding show,\u201d Gaga wrote. \u201cI love my fans so much, respect you and hope you can accept my sincere regretful apology.
