In turn, the city would pay for $3.75 million in public improvements, including a new Snyder Way road, and $6 million in incentive payments to Neumann.<\/p>\n<p>Taxes generated by the added property value would pay off the public debt within 19 years, according to Bob Duffy, the city&#8217;s economic development director.<\/p>\n<partner-inline util-module-path=\"elements\/partner\" placement=\"native-article_link\" sizes=\"[[300, 250], [3, 3]]\" min-height=\"250\" fluid=\"\" outstream=\"\"\/><cta-atoms-container-inline util-module-path=\"elements\/cta\" class=\"spacer-large\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The council had previously signaled its support for both the development and the changes to the tax district. As planned, the development would turn the former Olympia Resort grounds that once included a <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jsonline.com\/picture-gallery\/communities\/lake-country\/news\/oconomowoc\/2018\/01\/10\/photos-olympia-resort-through-the-years\/109331578\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">hotel and ski chalet<\/a> on the slope into a new active entertainment complex with a 60,000-square-foot venue.<\/p>\n<p>Separately, but somewhat related, the city will enter into an agreement with <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wangard.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Wangard Development<\/a>, which has proposed a mixed-use residential and commercial development project in the northwest quadrant of a roundabout at Pabst Road and Olympia Fields Drive.
