As Bargain Block<\/em><\/a> nears the end of its run on HGTV, Evan Thomas<\/a> is celebrating the show\u2019s most recent home renovation.<\/p>\n Thomas took to Instagram<\/a> on Thursday, September 4, to share several snaps of the rundown house he and his partner, Keith Bynum<\/a>, transformed on the show\u2019s Wednesday, September 3, episode.<\/p>\n \u201cSir Ringo Woodward says hi from Belle Isle aquarium<\/p>\n \ufffd\ufffd<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n ,\u201d Thomas captioned the Instagram upload, referring to the octopus he and Bynum saw while visiting the Belle Isle Aquarium in Detroit for design inspiration during the episode. \u201cHope you all enjoyed last nights [sic] episode!\u201d<\/p>\n He continued, \u201cThe art deco house was a slightly different layout than the traditional Detroit bungalow, which allowed us to add a few extra elements like the bedroom that also functioned as a kind of sunroom. It\u2019s nice to be able to change these bungalow layouts from time to time<\/p>\n \ufffd\ufffd<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n .\u201d<\/p>\n Thomas went on to address the show\u2019s upcoming conclusion, writing, \u201cThere is only one more episode of @bargainblock left! So make sure to tune in next week for the farewell episode!\u201d<\/p>\n Thomas and Bynum\u2019s costar, Shea Hicks-Whitfield, complimented the pair\u2019s latest renovation in the post\u2019s comments, stating, \u201cSo many things to love about this beautiful home!<\/p>\n \ufffd\ufffd<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n \ufffd\ufffd<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n \ufffd\ufffd<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n .\u201d<\/p>\n Bynum previously announced in June that Bargain Block<\/em> had been canceled<\/a> after four seasons, despite initially being greenlit for a fifth season by HGTV. The series was the first of several HGTV shows to get axed in recent months, along with Married to Real Estate<\/a><\/em>, Izzy Does It<\/a><\/em>, Farmhouse Fixer<\/a><\/em>, Battle on the Beach<\/a><\/em>, Christina on the Coast<\/a><\/em>, and The Flipping El Moussas<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n \u201cThank you<\/a> all for the thousands of messages of love and support,\u201d Bynum wrote via Instagram<\/a> on July 5. \u201cMe, Evan and Shea have been shocked beyond belief to see the response and we\u2019re so grateful. We love you all and just know, we\u2019re doing fine and will continue to work on houses and someday soon we\u2019ll share some new stuff.\u201d<\/p>\n Before Bargain Block<\/em> premiered the first of its final four episodes on August 20, Bynum took to Instagram<\/a> to share his appreciation<\/a> for the show\u2019s fans. \u201cIt\u2019s amazing to be part of something so wonderful and it\u2019s hard to say goodbye but I\u2019m beyond grateful for the last five years,\u201d he wrote alongside snaps of himself with Thomas and Hicks-Whifield from over the years on August 19. \u201cOur amazing fans have welcomed us into their homes like we were their best friends and we felt that.\u201d<\/p>\n Bynum went on to state that he\u2019s \u201cgrateful\u201d to be \u201cleaving HGTV at a high point,\u201d adding, \u201cWhile the decision to leave was not ours, it\u2019s clear we have fans that will support us no matter what network we land on and that is a comfort. I\u2019ll admit, the anger we experienced in the last few months was tough to handle, but seeing how many of you were also angry helped us see a path forward.
