Jason Aldean<\/strong> revealed that a Las Vegas residency<\/a> is \u201cprobably in [his] future,\u201d years after surviving the fatal Route 91 Harvest Festival shooting.<\/p>\n

\u201cI look at things that are going on now like The Sphere out in Las Vegas, like, going and doing some residencies,\u201d Aldean, 48, told Dax Shepard<\/strong> during the September 1 episode of the Armchair Expert podcast<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201c[Kenny] Chesney<\/strong> just did his out there, and Shaun Silva, who is our video director too, did all the content for that\u2026 I think Backstreet Boys<\/strong> just did one \u2013 killer.\u201d<\/p>\n

The country star admitted he has no plans to retire, though he has scaled back his touring schedule from 200 shows a year to about \u201c50 or 60\u201d concerts.<\/p>\n

Aldean\u2019s comments carry weight given his history with Las Vegas. On October 1, 2017, he was performing at the Route 91 Harvest Festival when a gunman opened fire, killing more than 60 people and injuring hundreds.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a festival like we\u2019ve done a million times. It was just obviously something that we weren\u2019t prepared for,\u201d Aldean said on the podcast. He admitted it took years to process, but talking about the tragedy has become \u201ceasier.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou know, my bass player, my best friend for the last 25 years, [Tully Kennedy<\/strong>], his bass had a bullet lodged in it that he was wearing when we were on stage,\u201d Aldean recalled.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor our little family, our little crew, we got so lucky, not one injury to any of our guys. And you\u2019re happy about that, but then you\u2019re like, feel guilty\u2026 there\u2019s like this guilt-ridden thing.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
