Social media influencer and reality TV star Rolling Ray has died, the network he worked with announced on Instagram Thursday.<\/p>\n
Rolling Ray, whose legal name is Raymond Harper, died Wednesday, just days before his birthday. <\/p>\n
Harper would have turned 29 years old on Friday. <\/p>\n
The self-described “most famous boy inna wheelchair,” garnered over 448,000 followers on Instagram after gaining popularity when clips of his appearances on “Divorce Court” and “Catfish: Trolls” went viral. <\/p>\n
He is also credited for coining the slang term “purr.”<\/p>\n
Harper is commonly recognized from the highly popular TikTok sound clipped from a Divorce Court <\/a>episode where Harper says, “she not a girl, it’s Miss Toler,” after which the judge corrects him, saying “it’s Judge Toler, be quiet, I have a question.”<\/p>\n Details of Harper’s death were not immediately available. <\/p>\n Harper previously shared details of health struggles he faced on his social media, including when he was hospitalized in late August 2024<\/a> for pneumonia and a blood infection. <\/p>\n His death was reported to the Maryland Office of the Chief Medical Examiner Wednesday, NBC News reported. <\/p>\n Divorce Court posted a tribute to the star on Instagram. <\/p>\n “RIP, he was so hilarious and made me laugh so much,” one commenter said on the post. <\/p>\n Zeus Network, the streaming platform on which Harper appeared in numerous shows, posted a tribute on Instagram Thursday.<\/p>\n “Gone way too soon. #RestInPeace to the BIG hearted, most Raw, & Real FRIEND & #Zeus Star #RaymondHarper aka @iamrollingray.
