Princess Diana<\/strong>\u2019s former hairstylist Sam McKnight <\/b>isn\u2019t holding back when it comes to addressing nasty comments about Princess Kate<\/b>\u2018s new blonde mane.<\/p>\n The backlash started after Kate, 43, debuted her lightened tresses<\/a> during a visit to the National History Museum\u2019s renovated gardens. Social media users questioned whether she was wearing a wig, with some speculating about hair loss from her cancer treatments.<\/p>\n The legendary hairstylist, 70 \u2014 who worked as the late Lady Di\u2019s personal hair guru for seven years \u2014 took to Instagram<\/a> on Thursday, September 4, to slam online trolls who criticized the Princess of Wales\u2019 dramatic honey blonde makeover mere hours after she debuted the new look.<\/p>\n \u201cI am shocked, horrified, dismayed and disgusted by all the nasty comments about the Princess of Wales today,\u201d McKnight wrote in his fiery post. \u201cA woman\u2019s hair is very personal to her, it\u2019s armor, defence, confidence and so much more.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI cannot believe how evil and lacking in any kind of of empathy are the comments, the majority made apparently by other women, attacking a vulnerable other young woman, who has no choice, by [way] of who she married and the role she took on, to bravely face the public,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n McKnight got even more passionate, writing that he\u2019s \u201csure\u201d Kate \u201cwould rather be away from the public arena,\u201d and praising how \u201cshe has brilliantly and quietly, unselfishly represented our country, the soft power we still have as a nation.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cCancer affects individuals differently, but is life changing for everyone,\u201d he declared. \u201cSo FFS LEAVE HER ALONE.
