Disney<\/span> has released a brand new Tron: Ares<\/a> <\/strong>trailer, previewing the film\u2019s IMAX<\/span> release with new footage from the upcoming sci-fi blockbuster.<\/p>\n

The trailer highlights Ares, a mysterious AI played by Jared Leto<\/span> who is brought into the real world by Julian Dillinger (Evan Peters<\/a>). Ares is marketed as a brilliant soldier who is capable of being respawned at any time, but things seem to quickly go off the rails.<\/p>\n

Alongside Leto, Tron: Ares also features a star-studded cast that includes Greta Lee, Evan Peters, Hasan Minhaj, Jodie Turner-Smith, Arturo Castro, Cameron Monaghan, Gillian Anderson, Jeff Bridges, and Sarah Desjardins.<\/p>\n

Tron: Ares will be the third official feature film in\u00a0Disney<\/a>\u2019s Tron franchise following 1982\u2019s Tron and 2010\u2019s Tron: Legacy. The film is directed by Joachim R\u00f8nning, who previously made 2019\u2019s Maleficent: Mistress of Evil and 2024\u2019s Young Woman and the Sea.
