However, it could be for her salsa, which Pashkov says he can \u201cabsolutely\u201d see her \u201csmashing.\u201d<\/p>\n Fishel, who created the role of Topanga Lawrence on the hit \u201890s sitcom Boy Meets World, reprised the role for the Disney Channel spinoff, which told a coming-of-age story from a girl\u2019s perspective. Carpenter, 26, played the role of Maya Hart, the best friend of Topanga and Cory\u2019s daughter Riley Matthews.<\/p>\n Pasha Paskov and Danielle FishelDisney/Andrew Eccles<\/p>\n Boy Meets World, which ran on ABC from 1993 to 2000, was such an iconic part of \u201890s television that Fishel\u2019s partner Pashkov watched almost the entire seven seasons before the DWTS cast was announced.<\/p>\n \u201cSo I have not watched [the show] growing up because I didn’t grow up here,\u201d says Pashkov, who began taking dance classes in Russia when he was 11. \u201cBut once there was a rumor that Danielle might be on this season, I binge-watched a lot of it. So, I fell in love with the show. I think it’s so funny.
