TikTok star Okay Baby\u2019s mom, Katelynn Ordone<\/strong>, is opening up about how she\u2019s navigating grief after son Preston\u2019s death.<\/p>\n \u201cI have gained 20 lbs since our accident,\u201d Katelynn shared in an August YouTube<\/a> video. \u201cThere\u2019s two kinds of people in this world when they become depressed. Some people, when they\u2019re depressed, they can\u2019t eat. They can\u2019t even think about food. They don\u2019t want to touch anything. There\u2019s some people in this world when they\u2019re depressed is, like, all they can do is eat. I think it goes without saying which one I am.\u201d<\/p>\n Katelynn noted that she\u2019s \u201cthinking about getting\u201d on one of the \u201cweight loss shots, at least for a month or two.\u201d She shared that the family \u201ccouldn\u2019t drive for a long time\u201d after the accident, leading them to do takeout more often.<\/p>\n \u201cI just started being able to drive. It\u2019s probably been a month now, but we were doing takeout for so long that it kind of just became a habit,\u201d Katelynn said. \u201cI also struggle to just do things in general, so it\u2019s just easier for me to do takeout, but we can\u2019t keep doing that forever, and I really want to start cooking again and cooking healthier meals.\u201d<\/p>\n Katelynn and husband Jaelan Ordone<\/strong>\u2019s friends shared in April that Preston died at age 2<\/a> in a single-vehicle accident. Both Katelynn and Jaelan sustained injuries, while their daughter, Paisley, was at school.<\/p>\n The next month, Us Weekly<\/em> confirmed that Preston died from \u201cblunt force injuries<\/a> due to a motor vehicle crash.\u201d The St. Tammany Parish coroner\u2019s office categorized his death as accidental.<\/p>\n Kateylnn later shared that she doesn\u2019t have \u201cany memory\u201d of the accident. \u201cI don\u2019t have any memory of 2-3 days after the accident. I don\u2019t have much memory of being in the hospital until towards the end,\u201d Katelynn explained in a July TikTok. \u201cI suffered a traumatic brain injury and lost a lot of my memory.\u201d<\/p>\n Katelynn noted that her father, Glen Norris<\/strong><\/a>, told her about a call she made moments after the incident.<\/p>\n
