Jennifer Lopez<\/a> is set to star in the upcoming film \u201cThe Last Mrs. Parrish<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n The Netflix movie, directed by Oscar winner Robert Zemeckis<\/a>, is filming in New Jersey, where Lopez has been spending a lot of time working on other movies in the past few years.<\/p>\n Zemeckis, who won the Oscar for best director for \u201cForrest Gump<\/a>\u201d (1994), also helmed hit films like \u201cBack to the Future<\/a>\u201d (1985), \u201cRomancing the Stone<\/a>\u201d (1984), \u201cWho Framed Roger Rabbit<\/a>\u201d (1988) and \u201cCast Away<\/a>\u201d (2000).<\/p>\n \u201cThe Last Mrs. Parrish\u201d is a psychological thriller based on the bestselling 2017 novel by Liv Constantine<\/a>, adapted for the screen by Andrea Berloff (\u201cStraight Outta Compton\u201d) and John Gatins (\u201cFlight\u201d). Lo\u2019s other New Jersey-made films over the past few years include the new take on musical \u201cKiss of the Spider Woman<\/a>,\u201d which is coming to theaters Oct. 10. The movie, directed by Bill Condon<\/a>, filmed at 10 Basin Studios in Kearny and is generating awards chatter for Lopez after a well-received premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in January. She stars alongside Tonatiuh<\/a> and Diego Luna<\/a> in the film.<\/p>\n Earlier this year, Lopez also filmed the Netflix rom-com<\/a> \u201cOffice Romance<\/a>\u201d in Jersey (including Hoboken<\/a> and Kenilworth) with \u201cTed Lasso\u201d star Brett Goldstein<\/a>.
