During a recent interaction about his upcoming Netflix documentary<\/strong>, he shared that he wants to get in touch with his former co-star and even pleaded for his contact details.<\/p>\n Two and a Half Men was an incredibly popular show that aired for 12 seasons from 2003 to 2015. It features Charlie Sheen, Jon Cryer, and Angus T. Jones<\/a> in the lead roles.<\/p>\n The makers removed Sheen from the show after the eighth season when his drug addiction got worse. This put a temporary halt to the series, but they soon brought them back with Ashton Kutcher<\/a> as Walden.<\/p>\n Now, in a recent interview with People<\/a> for his upcoming memoir, The Book of Sheen, and Netflix documentary, aka Charlie Sheen, the 60-year-old actor spoke about his relationship with his former co-star. \u201cThe only person I didn\u2019t call personally to participate in the doc was Jon,\u201d Sheen shared.<\/p>\n The Hot Shots!<\/a> star continued to explain how he couldn\u2019t get in touch with Jon Cryer. \u201cAnd the only reason I didn\u2019t call him was because I didn\u2019t have the right number for him, so the director reached out to him,\u201d he admitted.<\/p>\n \u201cBut when I saw everything that Jon spoke about, so honestly and very compassionately, I wrote to him and I said, \u2018Hey, thank you for your contributions, and I\u2019m sorry we didn\u2019t connect personally. I hope to see you around the campus,\u201d Sheen recalled.<\/p>\n The Anger Management<\/a> actor further shared that he hasn\u2019t heard back from Cryer. \u201cI\u2019m thinking I wrote to the wrong number. It\u2019s not like Jon did not respond. He\u2019s super responsible like that. So if you\u2019re reading this, Jon, DM me your new number!\u201d he pleaded.<\/p>\n Additionally, Charlie Sheen admitted that he empathizes with his former co-star Jon Cryer for being upset with him. He acknowledged how his addictions affected Two and a Half Men and its cast, also hampering the show\u2019s original vision. Sheen said, \u201cHe was in the line of fire with all that stupid s\u2014 going on, and it was affecting him and his family and his career and all that.
