Now: Dr. Perry Cox<\/a>.<\/p>\n That\u2019s right, New Jersey\u2019s own John C. McGinley<\/a> is joining fellow Jersey star Zach Braff<\/a>, Donald Faison<\/a>, Sarah Chalke<\/a> and Judy Reyes<\/a> in the \u201cScrubs\u201d revival<\/a>, per reports<\/a> from Deadline, Variety and The Hollywood Reporter.<\/p>\n McGinley, 66, played Perry Cox<\/a> in all nine seasons of \u201cScrubs<\/a>,\u201d which started out on NBC in 2001 and ended on ABC in 2010.<\/p>\n ABC<\/a> will also be the home for the revival series, which welcomes back original characters from the show while adding new faces.<\/p>\n McGinley<\/a>, a New York native who grew up in Short Hills (he\u2019s an alum of Millburn High School), was a gem as Cox<\/a> on the show.<\/p>\n The doctor\u2019s withering put-downs always kept Braff\u2019s character, John \u201cJ.D.\u201d Dorian<\/a>, on his toes (watch clips below).<\/p>\n
