Wednesday may be the object of Agnes\u2019 obsession, but fans of the Netflix drama are beginning to develop an obsession of their own \u2014 and it has nothing to do with the titular Addams.<\/p>\n
Now streaming, the seventh episode of Season 2 finds Agnes teaming up with Enid for an epic dance routine set to Lady Gaga\u2019s \u201cThe Dead Dance.\u201d And while the duo\u2019s perfectly synchronized performance deserves 10\u2019s across the board based on technique alone, it\u2019s the chemistry between the dancers that has fans tweeting \u2014 er, posting \u2014 some strong feelings they didn\u2019t previously have about the two.<\/p>\n
More from TVLine<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cWhy do I lowkey ship Enid and Agnes?\u201d one viewer<\/a> writes, while another<\/a> takes a slightly stronger stance: \u201cI have a new ship and it\u2019s Enid and Agnes. You don\u2019t do a whole dance routine and spin each other around. I\u2019ve never seen a better enemies to lovers.\u201d<\/p>\n Here\u2019s the thing, though \u2014 when TVLine presented the possibility of an Enid\/Agnes (#Agnid?) relationship to Enid\u2019s portrayer, it was immediately shot down. And shot down hard<\/em>.<\/p>\n \u201cI say Agnes is a baby, a child,\u201d Emma Myers tells us in response to those fans hoping the Nevermore students will become more than friends. \u201cMaybe ship Enid with somebody her own age. That\u2019s what I\u2019ll say.\u201d<\/p>\n (For the record, 23-year-old Myers is playing Enid at 16, while 16-year-old Evie Templeton is portraying Agnes at roughly 13, putting a three-year age gap between the characters.)<\/p>\n On a happier note, however, Myers says she appreciates that Enid manages to mend fences with Ajax (Georgie Farmer), her ex from Season 1, by the end of the Season 2 finale.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was absolutely important to me, because the way that the relationship went about was just terrible, like how they had me essentially cheat on Ajax,\u201d Myers says. \u201cI\u2019m glad that we sort of make amends towards the end, because I love their relationship. Even if they\u2019re not together as a couple, I still want them to be friends, and I hated that we were mean to each other this whole season, because I love working with Georgie. I\u2019m sad that I didn\u2019t get very many scenes with him. I don\u2019t want to be at odds with him next season.\u201d<\/p>\n Then again, Enid has enough on her plate heading into Season 3, considering she\u2019s currently wandering the forest in alpha form\u2026 possibly forever.<\/p>\n \u201cI just hope I\u2019m not a werewolf for too long,\u201d Myers tells us. \u201cKeep me as a werewolf for a few episodes, but at least by halfway, please<\/em> let me be a human.\u201d<\/p>\n Wednesday <\/em>fans, are you among those misguided shippers who saw a spark between Enid and Agnes, or are you just as opposed to it as Myers?
