Years after he dropped her name during a Republican primary debate, President Donald Trump is again considering revoking Rosie O\u2019Donnell\u2019s American citizenship. <\/p>\n
\u201cAs previously mentioned, we are giving serious thought to taking away Rosie O\u2019Donnell\u2019s Citizenship,\u201d Trump wrote in a Truth Social post<\/a> on Wednesday, Sept. 3. \u201cShe is not a Great American and is, in my opinion, incapable of being so!\u201d<\/p>\n The post went up with a doctored photo of O\u2019Donnell\u2019s face.<\/p>\n \u201cBanishing me again?\u201d O\u2019Donnell replied back in an Instagram post on Wednesday.<\/a> Referencing Brian Cox\u2019s character from the HBO series \u201cSuccession,\u201d O\u2019Donnell added, \u201cLogan Roy would be proud.\u201d<\/p>\n Trump\u2019s post is the second time this summer that he\u2019s suggested he could revoke O\u2019Donnell\u2019s citizenship and previously raised the issue on Truth Social on July 12.<\/a> <\/p>\n \u201cBecause of the fact that Rosie O\u2019Donnell is not in the best interests of our Great Country, I am giving serious consideration to taking away her Citizenship,\u201c Trump wrote. \u201dShe is a Threat to Humanity, and should remain in the wonderful Country of Ireland, if they want her. GOD BLESS AMERICA!\u201d<\/p>\n In March, O\u2019Donnell confirmed that she moved to Ireland in a TikTok video<\/a>. O\u2019Donnell left the United States because she felt \u201csad and scary… with the election of the current president, so I knew I had to take care of my kid \u2014 my non-binary, autistic kid.”<\/p>\n \u201cAnd the way that people marginalize and attack the trans community, especially politically, is unfathomable to me, and so unbearably cruel\u201a\u201d O\u2019Donnell added.<\/p>\n Despite the move, O\u2019Donnell said she and her child, Clay, are happy.<\/p>\n \u201cI miss my other kids. I miss my friends,\u201d she continued. \u201cI miss many things about life there at home and I\u2019m trying to find a home here in this beautiful country. When it is safe for all citizens to have equal rights there in America, that\u2019s when we will consider coming back.\u201d <\/p>\n The feud between O\u2019Donnell and Trump dates back several years, back to when she was a host on \u201cThe View\u201d on ABC. <\/p>\n O\u2019Donnell mocked Trump about his chances of running for president. <\/p>\n Trump infamously retaliated when, during a debate in 2015, former Fox News host Megyn Kelly told him, \u201cYou\u2019ve called women you don\u2019t like fat pigs, dogs, slobs and disgusting animals.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cOnly Rosie O\u2019Donnell,\u201d Trump said. <\/p>\n If you purchase a product or register for an account through a link on our site, we may receive compensation.
