Dana Perino advised fans to \u201cbetter\u201d their news consumption<\/a>.<\/p>\n The Fox News<\/a> host, 53, took to Instagram<\/a> on Sept. 1 with fresh advice for her followers. Every Monday, she posts a \u201cMentor Monday\u201d clip to her page.<\/p>\n Months after using the platform to drop a \u201cprivate admission,\u201d<\/a> she has suggested everyone seek their news elsewhere.<\/p>\n She started, \u201cSo my advice is going to be\u2026 I\u2019m going to give you two. One, I think in September, as a goal, everybody should add one news source to their diet.<\/p>\n \u201cWhatever their news diet is. You might add a newspaper, hardcopy always good. You might add a new substack, a new podcast, something that will just add a little bit.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Dana then mentioned her own podcast, Perino on Politics, as an option.<\/p>\n She clarified, \u201cI\u2019m not just touting my podcast but it\u2019s good.\u201d<\/p>\n The host also mentioned the \u201cgreat\u201d Fox News Rundown and Matt Whitlock\u2019s 10 Minute Drill, which she described as \u201calso a very good one.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cJust add a little something to give you more information,\u201d she explained. \u201cIt will make it better for you.\u201d<\/p>\n The host went on to offer more advice that was fueled by her own need for \u201cmore time in silence.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAll of us walk around with Airpods,\u201d she pointed out, before suggesting, \u201cWe have to find time to walk without the Airpods<\/a> or just sit in silence for prayer, meditation, just thinking because that\u2019s when you come up with all of your good ideas.\u201d<\/p>\n A few of her followers questioned her motives, with one joking, \u201cYou told me to add another news source besides Fox and then you tell me to take my earbuds out.
