On Thursday, September 4, the Deadpool & Wolverine<\/em> star, 48, attended the premiere of the documentary John <\/em>Candy: I Like Me<\/em>. Reynolds posed for photos on the red carpet by himself as well as with his mom, Tammy Reynolds<\/strong>, and with the documentary\u2019s director, Colin Hanks<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Proposal<\/em> actor wore glasses, a corduroy brown blazer with matching pants, and a white t-shirt featuring a maple leaf.<\/p>\n

Reynolds\u2019 appearance comes amid the continuous legal drama Lively faces with her It Ends With Us<\/em> costar Justin Baldoni<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

As Star<\/em> previously reported, the legal battle began in December 2024, when the Gossip Girl<\/em> alum, 38, filed a lawsuit alleging that the Jane the Virgin<\/em> star, 41, sexually harassed her on the set of the film. Baldoni filed his own $400 million defamation lawsuit against Lively in January 2025. However, it was dismissed by a judge<\/a> on June 9.<\/p>\n

Later that month, Reynolds seemingly joked about dealing with lawyers<\/a> at the Cannes Lions International Festival.<\/p>\n
