CELEBS Go Dating has enjoyed one of the most sensational seasons in its history, so Channel 4 has wasted no time ordering another series.<\/p>\n

The show will return next year, and having taken all the matchmaking to Ibiza<\/a> for the current series, there\u2019s moves to do something similar in 2026.<\/p>\n

Even though bosses of the programme, made by Objective Entertainment, may use a different location, it will be done with the same aim of provoking steamy activity among the stars looking for love.<\/p>\n

A TV insider said: \u201cChannel 4<\/a> chiefs have been delighted by the response to this year\u2019s CGD, so it was a no-brainer to go ahead and commission more. But it\u2019s the speed with which they have put the reorder in is telling. Normally they let the dust settle on a series, but it\u2019s still creating a buzz on E4<\/a> with everyone talking about the exploits of the celebs \u2014 particularly Christine McGuinness<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

She caused a stir when she signed up for the show by claiming she liked both men and women, but it was the latter she was now most interested in.<\/p>\n

So viewers watched as the model, who used to be married to presenter Paddy McGuinness<\/a>, started dating women. But in the end it all became too much for her and she pulled out of the process.<\/p>\n

Thankfully we had Atomic Kitten<\/a> star Kerry Katona<\/a> to keep us entertained as she took us on a rollercoaster ride of emotions that had her crying one minute, then leaving us all in stitches the next.<\/p>\n

The most recent 14th series \u2014 which also features The Chase\u2019s Mark Labbett<\/a> \u2014 started last month and is still delighting viewers, so it will probably be early next year before filming starts on season 15.<\/p>\n

Plenty of time for narrator Rob Beckett<\/a> to come up with a fresh batch of witty put-downs, then.<\/p>\n

PADDY MAYNE and the SAS Rogue Heroes<\/a> team have been called back to action \u2013 with filming just started for a third series.<\/p>\n

Jack O\u2019Connell returns as main man Paddy, while new actors joining the BBC One war thriller include Nick Hargrove, Andrew Dawson and Jake Jarratt.<\/p>\n

Show creator, writer and executive producer Steven Knight says: \u201cSeries three picks up as the war enters a critical phase, with the Allies mobilising to liberate France.<\/p>\n

\u201cWay ahead of the advancing front line, the SAS<\/a> are doing what they do best \u2013 creating chaos and carnage among the defending Axis troops.<\/p>\n

\u201cNever has the war been so bloody and never have the stakes been so high.\u201d<\/p>\n

The new series, based on the book by Ben Macintyre, is expected to air next year.<\/p>\n

FILMING has started in Manchester<\/a> on Russell T Davies<\/a>\u2019 new Channel 4 thriller, Tip Toe, with two top actors in lead roles.<\/p>\n

Alan Cumming<\/a> plays Leo, the ostentatious owner of a bar called Spit & Polish in the city\u2019s Gay Village, while David Morrissey will appear as his downbeat next door neighbour, Clive.<\/p>\n

Alan said: \u201cThe best things in life are worth waiting for, and the best people. Russell T Davies and I have been trying to work together for over 20 years.\u201d<\/p>\n

David added: \u201cAlan has been a great friend of mine for over 40 years but we\u2019ve never had the chance to work together.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tip Toe, which has five episodes, is described by Channel 4 as the story of how \u201ctwo neighbours become deadly enemies in a tense, suburban thriller which challenges everything we consider to be safe\u201d.<\/p>\n

Payback time for Donna<\/h2>\n

FORMER Celebrity Big Brother<\/a> star Donna Preston<\/a> says she is making a documentary about an ex-lover who turned out to be a scammer.<\/p>\n

She revealed: \u201cI went out with a guy who ended up stealing \u00a320,000 off me. I\u2019ve never got it back. I went out with him for three and a half years, and I ended up building him a house in Ghana.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve watched people get scammed and I go, \u2018How would that ever happen? How did you let that happen?\u2019 And it happened to me. I went through courts, and then he finally admitted that he did take the money, and then we set up a payment plan.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut he paid \u00a380 back and then went AWOL.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m creating a documentary about it. It\u2019s both revenge and a warning to other women, if I\u2019m honest. I know I\u2019m not going to get the money back but it\u2019s to help people as well.\u201d<\/p>\n

THE BBC\u2019s Director General Tim Davie told a boss at rival Netflix<\/a> not to ruin his favourite books when adapting them.<\/p>\n

He admits he loves nothing more than bingeing on a BBC drama, as well as offerings on the streamer which gave us Bridgerton<\/a> and is about to deliver a reboot of Pride And Prejudice.<\/p>\n

He added: \u201cI\u2019m enjoying One Hundred Years Of Solitude on Netflix. I always worry when books I love are adapted for the screen.<\/p>\n

They will be among five new groups of contributors in the 26th series, which starts on Channel 4 tonight at 9pm.<\/p>\n
