Beliebers are in for a treat: New Justin Bieber music is officially here. On Friday at midnight, the \u201cDaisies\u201d hitmaker debuted his new album, Swag II, which was announced less than 24 hours ahead of its release<\/a>.<\/p>\n Just like its July predecessor, Swag,<\/a> the album features assists from music producers including Dijon, Mk.gee, Carter Lang and the Canadian pop star himself. Also featured on the new release are Tems, Bakar, Hurricane Chris, Lil B and Eddie Benjamin.<\/p>\n Swag II features 23 new tracks, including \u201cSpeed Demon,\u201d \u201cBetter Man,\u201d \u201cLove Song\u201d and \u201cI Do.\u201d<\/p>\n Self-reflection seems to be the overarching theme on Swag II. On \u201cBetter Man,\u201d the album\u2019s second track, Bieber opens up about his marriage to model Hailey Bieber, with whom he shares son, Jack Blues. The Canadian hitmaker sings about the positive impact she\u2019s had on him, while reminiscing about their wedding day.<\/p>\n In the first verse, Bieber sings, \u201cSo you say I jumped the broom and then I rushed right into you, and it\u2019s amazing.\u201d He continues later on, Maybe we could start in slow motion, high speed\/Take the wheel, so baby, I can focus, trust me\/This feeling is a good one and a nice thing, uh\/Church bells and throwing rice things, uh-uh.<\/p>\n Online, Bieber addressed the apparent issue that fans were unable to immediately stream the album at its intended midnight release. Alongside three zoomed-in screenshots of himself, from his infamous \u201cit\u2019s not clocking to you<\/a>\u201d interaction with paparazzi in Los Angeles, Bieber made sure to keep fans updated on when the technical difficulties would be rectified.<\/p>\n One of Bieber\u2019s captions read, \u201cIt\u2019s not clocking to Spotify and Apple Music \u2026 Refreshhhh loadinggggggg\u2026\u2026\u2026<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n Once the streaming issue had been rectified, fans immediately began sharing their thoughts online. Even Bieber himself has reshared several fan reactions in the hours following Swag II\u2019s release.<\/p>\n On Thursday, Bieber posted a series of photos on Instagram to unveil the album, including electronic billboards that have gone up in Toronto, Los Angeles, New York and Shanghai. The advertisements, with pink backgrounds, read simply, Swag II.<\/p>\n Bieber\u2019s Instagram posts were accompanied by captions that read, \u201cswag II tonight at midnight\u201d and \u201ctonight.\u201d<\/p>\n Also accompanying the midnight release of Swag II was a limited capsule collection<\/a> from Bieber\u2019s clothing brand, SKYLRK. A pullover hoodie, zip-up hoodie, beanie and tank top in the same shade of pink as the Swag II album cover became available for purchase when the album dropped.<\/p>\n This isn\u2019t the first time this year that Bieber has made a sudden album announcement. Fans were only made aware that he\u2019d be dropping Swag just 10 hours ahead of its July 11 release. Bieber unveiled the news in a similar fashion to Swag II, by debuting electronic billboards with black-and-white visuals<\/a> associated with the album.<\/p>\n Following its release, Swag debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, earning the equivalent of 163,000 album units in its opening week in the U.S., according to Luminate. Sixteen tracks from Swag also debuted on the Billboard Hot 100, with \u201cDaisies\u201d taking the No. 2 spot.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
