He and his wife, <strong><span>Julie Chrisley<\/span><\/strong>, got locked up for bank fraud, tax evasion, and conspiracy to defraud the United States. As time went on, he stopped feeling excited about the show.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cChrisley Knows Best was a wonderful show and still is,\u201d Todd began. \u201cI mean, you can tell in how many times it\u2019s airing and reruns and whatever. I\u2019m grateful for what the show brought us, but to whom much is given, much is required.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">According to Todd, he <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/entertainment\/articles\/savannah-chrisley-maga-posts-start-153348497.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:started feeling annoyed;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;outcm:mb_qualified_link;_E:mb_qualified_link;ct:story;\" class=\"link  yahoo-link\">started feeling annoyed<\/a> with production because they were making the family present themselves in one way on screen when they \u201cwere actually having to live another way.\u201d Todd said he \u201cstarted winding down\u201d as his frustrations deepened.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cThis was going to be my last contract that I was going to renew with USA Network for Chrisley Knows Best,\u201d he claimed. \u201cAnd I was working on my last season.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Todd said that the rest of the family was \u201cfighting\u201d with him to do another season. He didn\u2019t want to budge, but ultimately, it didn\u2019t matter. The FBI investigation wound up pushing the show off the air.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cAnd I\u2019m fighting with them, saying, \u2018No, I\u2019m not. No, I\u2019m not. You guys have been doing it as long as I have. Keep going if that\u2019s what you want to do,&#8217;\u201d Todd said. \u201cAnd then God kind of said, \u2018Okay, I\u2019ll fix that for you.
