Anyone who misses Hulk Hogan\u2019s<\/a> 1980s cartoon series<\/strong> can rest easy now, as the show is making an unexpected comeback on<\/strong> YouTube<\/strong>. Titled Hulk Hogan\u2019s Rock \u2018n\u2019 Wrestling<\/strong>, the CBS production is all set to make a much-awaited return to the small screen after four decades via the premier video-sharing platform.<\/p>\n According to a recent report, Hulk Hogan\u2019s vintage cartoon series will begin airing its episodes on the\u00a0WWE\u00a0Vault\u00a0YouTube\u00a0channel on September 6. While it remains unclear if new additions will be made to the 26-episode roster of the show, the original chapters will come out on the said YouTube channel in batches of four episodes.<\/p>\n As per Variety<\/a>, episodes will come out in chronological order at a scheduled time of 6 AM, 8 AM, 10 AM, and 12 PM ET every other Saturday.<\/p>\n Hulk Hogan\u2019s Rock \u2018n\u2019 Wrestling series originally premiered on CBS in September 1985 and ran for two seasons before calling it quits in October 1986. Reruns of the fan-favorite show continued airing till June 1987, and the series has remained out of commission ever since.<\/p>\n The show revolves around the escapades of animated versions of Hulk Hogan and other WWE wrestlers as they square off against their rogue counterparts, led by \u2018Rowdy\u2019 Roddy Piper. The featured character list had some of the biggest names in wrestling history aside from Hogan and Piper, including Andre the Giant, Junkyard Dog, Jimmy \u2018Superfly\u2019 Snuka, The Iron Sheik, Bobby \u2018The Brain\u2019 Heenan, as well as veteran WWE announcer \u2018Mean Gene\u2019 Okerlund.<\/p>\n Notably, none of the aforementioned wrestlers lent their voices to the show due to scheduling conflicts, with various voice actors filling in for them.<\/p>\n The news of the return of the Rock \u2018n\u2019 Wrestling series comes just over a month after the death of Hulk Hogan<\/a>.
