While some may think they may be taking it easy and enjoying the last days of summer, it turns out we all missed a very important update from none other than Melissa O’Neil<\/strong> (who plays Lucy Chen<\/a>) on the current status of The Rookie<\/em>.<\/p>\n As Melissa shared on Instagram<\/a> on August 20, she is back on set to film brand new episodes of The Rookie<\/em> season 8.
