Dierks Bentley<\/a><\/span><\/strong>\u2019s sleeping arrangements with wife Cassidy Black<\/strong> may not be as wild as some fans first thought.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhy I don\u2019t do podcasts \ud83e\udd23 \ud83e\udd26,\u201d Bentley, 49, wrote via Instagram<\/span><\/a> on Thursday, September 4. \u201cThis is how we do it. I like bouncing around in my old single axle, leaf spring Chevy truck, but we prefer \u2018independent suspension\u2019 when it comes to sleep. Turns out your grandparents knew what they were doing, as does most of the current world outside the US today.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a series of photographs, the country singer showcased two ZINUS moiz wood platform bed frames put together to create one larger bed.<\/p>\n

The only thing separating the two bed frames \u2014 priced at less than $132 each on Amazon<\/span><\/a> \u2014 was the family dog.<\/p>\n

While appearing on the Tuesday, September 2, episode of the \u201cBobbycast<\/span>\u201d podcast, Bentley made headlines<\/span><\/a> when he broke down his sleeping arrangement with his spouse of 19 years.<\/p>\n

\u201cI decided to separate church and state and I got rid of our bed, and I\u2019ve got two platform beds and two box springs and two mattresses,\u201d Bentley \u2014 who wrapped up The Broken Branches Tour in August \u2014 told podcast host Bobby Bones<\/strong>. \u201cI have my own duvet, she has her duvet, there\u2019s a clear line. You can see the floor between her bed and mine.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Flag & Anthem<\/a> designer \u2014 who describes himself as the \u201cworst sleeper\u201d \u2014 compared the sleeping arrangement to \u201cindependent suspension\u201d and asked listeners, \u201cWhy would you have a truck with leaf springs when you can have independent suspension?\u201d<\/p>\n
