Consequence<\/a> has reportedly referenced Kid Cudi<\/a> testifying at Diddy<\/a>\u2019s trial in a new song that has since been deleted after being posted online.<\/p>\n According to TMZ<\/em><\/a>, on Tuesday (September 2), Cons posted a clip of “Punching at the Air” featuring Conway the Machine, on which he apparently spits: “We about to blow like Kid Cudi’s car.<\/em>“<\/p>\n A direct nod to Diddy allegedly bombing Cudi\u2019s Porsche<\/a> in 2012 with a Molotov cocktail in retaliation for Cudi and Cassie Ventura<\/a> dating, the song\u2019s accompanying video also reportedly features footage of Cudi leaving Diddy\u2019s trial in May.<\/p>\n “Punching at the Air” is supposedly set to appear on Consequence\u2019s upcoming album, I Work For Me<\/em>, slated for release via his 192 Records label. In July, he took to X to write: “Kid Cudi testified against Puff for NOTHING.”<\/p>\n Consequence via X<\/span><\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n In late May, Kid Cudi took the stand during Diddy\u2019s sex trafficking and racketeering trial, where he was asked about the disgraced mogul allegedly blowing up Cudi’s car<\/a>. He told the prosecution he believed the fire was \u201cintentional” and not accidental.<\/p>\n Both Cassie and Cudi alleged that Diddy went to such lengths after discovering the pair had briefly dated in 2011. Around that time, Cassie called Cudi to tell him that Diddy had discovered their romantic involvement and claimed the 55-year-old gave the order to blow up Cudi’s Porsche.<\/p>\n Cassie first made the allegation<\/a> in her civil lawsuit in 2023, saying that Diddy became extremely upset about her relationship with Cudi. Rumors of the incident circulated in 2012, but it wasn’t until November 2023 that a spokesperson for Cudi corroborated Cassie\u2019s account of the alleged car explosion in a statement to The New York Times<\/em>, saying: “This is all true.”<\/p>\n Diddy’s verdict arrived in July, on the same day Consquence posted about Cudi. On July 2, Diddy was found guilty<\/a> of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution in his federal trial. Since then, he’s been denied bail twice<\/a>; it appears he will remain incarcerated until his sentencing on October 3<\/a>.<\/p>\n As for Cudi, he just released his album Free<\/em><\/a>, which he told fans on X is his “last album on a major label,” and that he\u2019s now “looking forward to\u2026being independent.”<\/p>\n In August, Cudi spoke on Diddy\u2019s trial, telling CBS Mornings<\/em> that testifying against the Bad Boy Records founder was “really hard.”<\/a><\/p>\n “I didn’t want to do it,” Cudi continued. “I got subpoenaed. … I just wanted to be there for [Cassie] and help her out,” he explained, adding: “I know I did the right thing, so that’s all that matters.”<\/p>\n In addition to Cudi, Consequence has been beefing with Pusha T<\/a>, recently saying he\u2019s a better MC than Push and dissing lyrics from \u201cAce Trumpets,” which features on new Clipse album, Let God Sort Em Out<\/em>.<\/p>\n At one point in Cons’ life, he had close ties to Cudder and King Push, as all three were signed to Ye’s G.O.O.D. Music<\/a> label. Cons, Cudi and Push have all had their respective feuds with Ye, with Cons being the only one to squash their beef<\/a>.
