When Brolin last visited the show to promote his memoir, just after CBS announced it was canceling Colbert\u2019s show, Brolin joked the cancellation was good<\/a> as Colbert would have more time to spend on his boat, and he\u2019d finally get time to watch Brolin in The Goonies<\/em>.<\/p>\n Brolin even gifted Colbert a doll with the actor\u2019s face on it, before the two recited poetry together in an epic display of their love of the classics.<\/p>\n The Late Show With Stephen Colbert<\/em> is scheduled to end in May 2026 after the end of the current broadcast season. Colbert has successfully hosted the show for 10 years, becoming one of the most revered voices in late-night television.<\/p>\n The Late Show<\/em> began in 1993 and was hosted by David Letterman<\/strong>.
