Mumbai: Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt has lauded Kalyani Priyadarshan’s latest film Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra, describing it as a captivating fusion of \u201cmythic folklore\u201d and \u201cmystery\u201d.<\/p>\n

Lokah has become a box office success, with Kalyani and Naslen playing the lead roles. In the film, Kalyani portrays a superhero. The movie is produced by Dulquer Salmaan\u2019s production company, Wayfarer Films<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Malayalam film is set to release in Hindi today.<\/p>\n

Taking to Instagram, Alia Bhatt shared her excitement about the film\u2019s Hindi release, writing, \u201cSuch a fresh blend of mythic folklore & mystery! So happy to see the love it’s getting. This is a step in cinema that I will always be eager to show my love & support for!\u201d<\/p>\n

Bollywood star Akshay Kumar also offered his full support for Lokah \u2014 Chapter One: Chandra ahead of its Hindi version release.<\/p>\n

On his official social media handle, Akshay praised Kalyani Priyadarshan\u2019s performance and also acknowledged the talent of her father, renowned filmmaker Priyadarshan<\/a>. He wrote, \u201cTalent runs in the family…suna thaa, ab dekh liya! Hearing lovely things about the brilliant acting chops of @kalyanipriyan, Priyadarshan Sir’s daughter. My best wishes to her and the entire team of #Lokah on their Hindi version release. More power.\u201d<\/p>\n

Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan have a long history of collaboration, having worked together on hit films such as Hera Pheri, Garam Masala, Bhagam Bhag, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa. More recently, the actor-director duo reunited for the horror-comedy Bhooth Bangla, their first big-screen collaboration in 15 years.<\/p>\n

The film also stars Wamiqa Gabbi, Tabu, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, and Asrani, among others.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, Akshay is set to feature in Priyadarshan\u2019s upcoming film Haiwaan, alongside Saif Ali Khan.<\/p>\n

In addition to Alia Bhatt and Akshay Kumar, several other celebrities, including Ishaan Khatter, Rashmika Mandanna, and Sharvari, have come forward to praise Lokah \u2014 Chapter One: Chandra.<\/p>\n
