\u201cBuilding the Band\u201d<\/a> winners are officially kicking off their girl group era.<\/p>\n Months after coming in first place<\/a> in the Netflix singing competition show, female group 3Quency<\/a> \u2014 consisting of Brianna Mazzola, Nori Moore and Wennely Quezada \u2014 released their debut single, \u201cTop Down,\u201d along with its accompanying music video.<\/p>\n The song comes after the trio signed to Records\/Columbia Records, and now they feel ready to take over the music space.<\/p>\n The infectious R&B track is produced by Tommy Brown, known for his work with Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber and The Weeknd.<\/p>\n \u201cWorking with Tommy Brown and his camp is such a blessing. We\u2019re so excited for this journey and are feeling so blessed that we got this opportunity and we\u2019re excited for you guys to be a part of it!\u201d<\/p>\n The song and music video showcase the singers\u2019 unique personalities and talents, which prove that they made the right choice when forming their group blindly on \u201cBuilding the Band.\u201d<\/p>\n Reflecting on filming the video, directed by Ava Rikki, Moore said, \u201cWe definitely had a time when we were filming the music video for \u2018Top Down\u2019! Nicole Scherzinger served as a mentor to the six groups and was a judge alongside the late Liam Payne and Kelly Rowland.<\/p>\n In the finale, 3Quency faced off against mixed group SZN4, with the trio ultimately taking home the $500,000 prize.<\/p>\n
