Academy Award nominee Mark Ruffalo<\/a> has finally opened up about the recent Spider-Man 4<\/span><\/strong> rumors regarding Bruce Banner\/Hulk<\/a>\u2018s potential involvement in Brand New Day. The Avengers vet\u2019s beloved superhero was last seen at the end of the 2022 Disney+ series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, where it was revealed that he has a son named Skaar.<\/p>\n

Mark Ruffalo reacts to Hulk\u2019s potential return in Spider-Man 4<\/h2>\n

During a recent interview with ET, Ruffalo claimed that he doesn\u2019t really know if the Hulk is part of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, as he hasn\u2019t read any scripts for the movie yet. Should he indeed appear in the upcoming Tom Holland-led movie, it would be the 15-year mark since he first played Bruce Banner\/Hulk in The Avengers movie.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know. I\u2019m still waiting to hear. I haven\u2019t read a script yet\u2026.If it does happen, it would be incredible,\u201d Ruffalo shared. \u201cI grew up with it, and it changed my life in the best ways. Each time it\u2019s this new director, a new world. It\u2019s so exciting and there\u2019s nothing else like it. Maybe a TV show, but a TV show doesn\u2019t change its whole world from one director to the next, and that\u2019s what\u2019s so exciting about it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Recent rumors about Hulk\u2019s potential role in Spider-Man 4 suggested that the hero might transform into the Savage Hulk, who\u2019s best known as the character\u2019s aggressive and deadly alter-ego. According to the latest report, his Savage Hulk transformation<\/a> will be triggered by emotional distress caused by the appearances of She-Hulk and Red Hulk.<\/p>\n

Spider-Man: Brand New Day<\/a> is being directed by Destin Daniel Cretton from a screenplay written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. The movie is led by MCU vet Tom Holland as he reprises his role as Peter Parker\/Spider-Man. Emmy winner Zendaya and Jacob Batalon are also expected to return for the sequel. Joining them are Jon Bernthal (Daredevil: Born Again) as Frank Castle\/Punisher, Sadie Sink (Stranger Things), Liza Col\u00f3n-Zayas (The Bear), and Michael Mando as Mac Gargan\/Scorpion.<\/p>\n

The movie will arrive in theaters on July 31, 2026.<\/p>\n
