James Sweeney<\/a> has a thing for twins. In his new quirky dark comedy, \u201cTwinless<\/a>,\u201d he and Dylan O\u2019Brien<\/a> play Dennis and Roman, two men who form an unlikely friendship when they meet at a support group for people whose identical twins have died.<\/p>\n In one scene, Dennis is shown watching Mary-Kate<\/a> and Ashley Olsen<\/a> in their 1995 comedy \u201cIt Takes Two<\/a>.\u201d Sweeney<\/a>, who wrote and directed \u201cTwinless<\/a>,\u201d reached out to the former child actors with a letter. \u201cI think I espoused my love for them and begged them to use their likeness from the classic \u2018It Takes Two<\/a>,\u2019\u201d he recalls. \u201cIncidentally, they\u2019re not playing actual twins in the movie.
