\n\tThe Toronto electronic musician released his new single \u201cLonely Together\u201d on Thursday (Sept. 4), an uplifting house track with a dreamy atmosphere and cathartic build-ups. It\u2019s a prolific collaboration with Grammy-nominated American soul singer Aloe Blacc and English YouTube star and DJ Vikkstar.<\/p>\n

After utilizing Blacc\u2019s contribution, the EDM artist teamed up with Vikkstar to give the track a progressive house feel, which is evident in its warm feel and uplifting synth melodies.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cAloe\u2019s voice brought a raw soul to it that needed an emotional synth to back it up,\u201d he says. \u201cWhen I first laid them down, I wanted them to feel heavy, but also freeing. The whole process was about channeling those moments where you\u2019re carrying so much on your shoulders, and then finally letting it all go.
