Julianne Hough<\/strong><\/a> and Derek Hough<\/strong><\/a> are a dynamic sibling duo<\/a> on Dancing With the Stars, <\/i>though one steamy dance left fans confused when it came to their relationship.<\/p>\n \u201cOur first thing that we ever did on Dancing With the Stars <\/i><\/a>was we were both on the live tour,\u201d Julianne, 37, recalled on the Friday, September 5, episode of the \u201cChicks in the Office\u201d podcast<\/a>. \u201cCarrie Ann [Inaba<\/strong>, one of the show judges] was the one [who] choreographed everything, and she got us to do a rumba together.\u201d<\/p>\n A rumba is a Latin dance, commonly referred to as \u201cthe dance of love.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cOur names in the program were \u2018Derek and Julianne Hough,\u2019 so everybody thought we were married and we were doing this rumba,\u201d she recalled. \u201cWhen people found out we were brother-sister, I remember there was one venue \u2026 and we just heard, \u2018That\u2019s just wrong!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Julianne Hough Compares Her and DWTS\u2019 Cohost Alfonso Ribeiro\u2019s Bond to the \u2018Friends\u2019 Cast\u2019s Dynamic<\/a><\/p>\n Julianne and Derek, 40, joined DWTS <\/i>in 2007, going on to win a combined total of eight mirrorball trophies<\/a>. Julianne now cohosts DWTS <\/i>with Alfonso Ribeiro<\/strong>, while Derek sits on the judging panel with Inaba, 57, and Bruno Tonioli<\/strong>.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s really cool that we get to do similar things in our own way,\u201d she said on Friday. \u201cWe\u2019re definitely unique, [but] we\u2019re cut from the same cloth, so there\u2019s a lot of similar energy, but we\u2019re very different.\u201d<\/p>\n Derek, who is now married to pregnant wife Hayley Erbert<\/strong>, and Julianne have also teamed up for a number of less romantic dances on DWTS. <\/i>The Hough siblings recently teased to Us Weekly <\/i>that they might even perform together on this fall\u2019s season 34.<\/p>\n \u201cWe should. There\u2019s a lot of momentum with Dancing With the <\/i>Stars,\u201d Derek teased to Us <\/i>in August. \u201cI think that momentum is gonna carry through into this one and it\u2019s already feeling bigger than it\u2019s ever been before we\u2019ve even started.
