Her hair was wet and slicked back on her head as she posed with her legs outstretched, leaning back with her arms behind her and supporting her weight. The actress behind DJ Tanner easily looked a decade younger while smiling for the camera.<\/p>\n Other snaps in the post showed Bure with her arms above her head, laughing with her eyes closed and gazing contentedly off-camera as a wave receded.<\/p>\n In the comments, Bure’s followers lauded the gorgeous snaps and her apparent inability to age.<\/p>\n One Instagram user wrote, “Holy smokes!!! Do you ever age? One follower asked, “Did you post a bikini photo like yesterday and then take it down?”<\/p>\n Bure replied, “Yes. I was at the beach. I was in a one piece, not a bikini. I am soaking up the end of summer. I was having fun. It wasn’t about my bathing suit or my body. But the comments became flooded with people discussing my body. It wasn’t worth it. I took it down.”<\/p>\n In May, Bure opened up about the goal of being in the best shape of her life by the time she turns 50.<\/p>\n “That’s what I’m working towards,” she told Fox News<\/a>. “I’ve been filming a lot of movies, so I don’t feel like I’m at my top right now because my fitness has to take a back seat while I’m filming movies, but I turned 49 this year and I have really big goals for myself just keeping active and healthy, but going into 50, I wanna be in best shape that I can possibly be in.”<\/p>\n Of getting older, the Great American Family<\/a> star, Bure said, “I\u2019m in a groove, and I just want to approach life and aging as someone with grace, but also enthusiasm.”<\/p>\n That same month, Bure responded to comments on social media claiming she looked “old.”<\/a><\/p>\n “Aging is sensitive,” she pointed out on her Instagram Stories. “Comments like this hurt, no matter whether they are meant to be mean-spirited or just a shared \u2018opinion.'”<\/p>\n She concluded, “As I embrace aging, I\u2019m choosing to do it as naturally and as gracefully as possible. I imagine the people who write these kinds of messages are reflecting what they are personally feeling about their own self to some degree.
