The 2025 Creative Arts Emmys are being presented in Los Angeles this weekend and will be broadcast Saturday, Sept. 13, at 8 p.m. ET on FXX<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
It was a showdown between six standout comedic performances by some of the most iconic actresses at the 2025 Creative Arts Emmys<\/a>.<\/p>\nJulianne Nicholson<\/a> was named the winner of Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series for her role in Hacks (HBO Max) at the 2025 Creative Arts Emmys on Saturday, Sept. 6.<\/p>\nAlso nominated in the category at the 77th annual awards show were Olivia Colman<\/a> and Jamie Lee Curtis<\/a> from The Bear (FX on Hulu), Cynthia Erivo<\/a> from Poker Face (Peacock), Robby Hoffman<\/a> from Hacks (HBO Max) and Zo\u00eb Kravitz<\/a> from The Studio (Apple TV+).<\/p>\nNicholson, 54, wowed as Mary Alice, a.k.a. Nicholson’s character seems like your average American mom making a name for herself with silly dance moves on TikTok, but the fame rushes to her head and she quickly spirals with her new life in Los Angeles. It’s a wild ride, for sure.<\/p>\n
Nicholson is already an Emmy winner for her work in Mare of Easttown in 2021 and could add two trophies to her shelf this year as she is also nominated in the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for Paradise in addition to her Hacks nod.<\/p>\n
