Shawn Hatosy<\/a> and Merritt Wever<\/a> won the awards for best drama guest actor and actress at the 2025 Creative Arts Emmys.<\/p>\n

Hatosy earned both his first Emmy nomination and win for his role as Dr. Jack Abbot<\/a> in the premiere season of HBO\u2019s The Pitt<\/a>. \u201cI very much want to thank John Wells<\/a> who has thrown me so many lifelines over the years,\u201d Hatosy said, shouting out the show\u2019s co-creator and executive producer, in his acceptance speech. \u201cI\u2019d say more but I\u2019m gonna cry and that would be embarassing,\u201d he added before also acknowledging his co-star and series lead.<\/p>\n

\u201cNoah Wyle<\/a>, your leadership, your performance on The Pitt<\/a> is extraordinary,\u201d Hatosy continued. \u201cIt\u2019s unbelievable being on the other side of what you\u2019re bringing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Wever, who didn\u2019t attend the awards, received her third Emmy for her portrayal of Gretchen George in season two of Severance<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
