No, Danny Trejo<\/strong> has not died.<\/p>\n The longtime action-movie star, 81, confirmed on Instagram<\/a> that a certain report that sent the internet ablaze this weekend is false.<\/p>\n “Thank you all for your concern but I am very much alive,” his post on Sunday, September 7 reads. “Someone is spreading fake news.”<\/p>\n As expected, many fans commented on the Spy Kids<\/em> star’s social media post.<\/p>\n “THANK GOD BRO\u2757\ufe0fwe love you homie \ud83d\udcaf\ud83d\udcaa\ud83c\udffe\ud83d\ude4f\ud83c\udffe\u2764\ufe0f,” one Instagram user commented, while someone else wrote, “We love you, Danny Trejo! \u2764\ufe0f.”<\/p>\n Trejo’s rep also confirmed to TMZ<\/em><\/a> that it’s all just a hoax, despite the fact that John Leguizamo<\/strong> \u2014 who starred with Trejo in The Infiltrator<\/em> \u2014 even shared the false report on Instagram over the weekend, the outlet noted.<\/p>\n Earlier this summer, Trejo paid tribute<\/a> to a fellow celebrity who actually did pass away: Ozzy Osbourne<\/strong>.<\/p>\n “Today we lost one of the wildest souls to ever walk this Earth,” Trejo wrote in an Instagram post<\/a> that includes a photo of the two goofing off together while Osbourne pretended to choke him. \u201cOzzy wasn\u2019t just The Prince of Darkness, he was pure light to those of us lucky enough to meet him. A heart bigger than any stage he ever rocked.”<\/p>\n Trejo added in his July 22 post that his heart was with Osbourne\u2019s wife Sharon Osbourne<\/strong> and their kids. “Love you forever,” he concluded with a white dove and guitar emoji. “Save me a seat backstage up there, carn\u00e1l.”<\/p>\n The photo was taken backstage at Ozzfest in December 2018, and it wasn\u2019t the only time the dynamic duo was spotted spending time together.
