Erik Estrada<\/strong> first won hearts in the \u201970s crime drama CHiPs<\/em>, and more than 40 years later, he\u2019s still got it.<\/p>\n

Appearing at Tucson Comic-Con in Arizona, which was staged from August 29 to August 31, the TV veteran, 76, delighted fans with meet-and-greets before posing for photos at the pop culture festival.<\/p>\n

Dressed in a smart purple button-down paired with a blue vest, Estrada also did interviews with media outlets including Dawn Page News<\/em>, which posted a video of their chat via TikTok<\/a> in the days following.<\/p>\n

The video of Estrada, who portrayed Office Frank Poncherello in the TV show from 1977 to 1983, attracted praise from fans who were impressed by his physical appearance. \u201cDamn. This dude EVER age. Keep it up,\u201d wrote one TikTok user, while another commented, \u201cBro u age to perfection.\u201d<\/p>\n

Estrada\u2019s appearance at the event made waves online just days before he was scheduled to appear at yet another fan event: Retro Con 2025 in Oaks, Pennsylvania, from Saturday, September 6, to Sunday, September 7.<\/p>\n

Estrada\u2019s Instagram<\/a> teaser for Retro Con 2025 attracted equally impressed fan reactions, with one user writing, \u201cHe still has that beautiful smile,\u201d and another commenting, \u201cDouble E is one cool dude.\u201d<\/p>\n

Estrada revealed in 2016<\/a> that despite putting his acting days behind him, his TV work inspired his next professional pursuit. Taking to X (then Twitter) in July of that year, Estrada informed fans he had taken a job as a police officer in the Idaho town of St. Anthony.<\/p>\n

A photo that accompanied his announcement at the time showed Estrada dressed in a navy blue uniform as he stood beside a white Harley-Davidson motorcycle.<\/p>\n
