THE RUNDOWN<\/strong><\/p>\n Demi Lovato didn\u2019t attend this evening\u2019s MTV VMAs.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n Lovato recently made a surprise appearance at the Jonas Brothers\u2019 tour opening concert.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n She and Joe Jonas then posted Instagram clips together.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n On Sunday, Demi Lovato skipped the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards. She had no nominations, and she wasn\u2019t a performer or presenter either, giving her no reason to attend.<\/p>\n The singer recently took the stage again, surprising audiences on August 10 at the Jonas Brothers concert at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. She joined Kevin, Nick, and Joe Jonas for some special songs. Lovato was introduced with clips from the Camp Rock<\/em> movies before Joe sang his character Shane Gray\u2019s song \u201cGotta Find You.\u201d He then warmly welcomed Lovato to the stage. Together, they sang a medley of songs from the films, including \u201cThis Is Me.\u201d<\/p>\n After their performance, Joe claimed they haven\u2019t performed that particular song in \u201calmost 10 years.\u201d Lovato replied, \u201cIt might have been longer…crazy!\u201d<\/p>\n Lovato and Joe previously dated<\/a> in 2010, but have maintained a friendly relationship since. Lovato married her husband, Jordan \u201cJutes\u201d Lutes<\/a>, in May 2025 and he was in the audience at the New Jersey show. The musician shared a clip on his Instagram Stories<\/a> of Lovato being met with applause as she came onstage, writing over it, \u201cCouldn\u2019t be more proud \u2026 I love u sooo much baby.\u201d<\/p>\n After the show, Joe and Lovato kept the nostalgia train going, sharing a lip syncing video to \u201cWouldn\u2019t Change a Thing\u201d in an Instagram Reel.<\/p>\n And then another to Disney star Debby Ryan\u2019s \u201cSat Down with the President of Disney Channel\u201d speech.<\/p>\n Lovato captioned the post, \u201cFor the history books @joejonas.\u201d<\/p>\n You Might Also Like<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
