Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a> fans have been gifted another variant of her upcoming album.<\/p>\n Target announced on Sunday, September 7, that it will carry three exclusive CD packages of Swift\u2019s highly anticipated upcoming album, The Life of a Showgirl. Fans can buy the It\u2019s Frightening, It\u2019s Rapturous\u00a0or It\u2019s Beautiful album edition \u2014 or all three, of course.<\/p>\n The records will be available on Friday, October 3.<\/p>\n Swift, 35, announced the upcoming release of her new album during an appearance on the \u201cNew Heights\u201d podcast, alongside fianc\u00e9 Travis Kelce<\/strong> and her future brother-in-law Jason Kelce<\/strong>, on August 12. She opened up the case and pulled out the record while she explained, \u201cThis is my brand new album, The Life of a Showgirl.\u201d<\/p>\n Swift also updated her website at 12:12 a.m. to replace a countdown that included graphics indicating a vinyl, cassette and CD with poster. Each graphic was covered by a sparkly orange lock, a reference to the dominant color being paired with the record.<\/p>\n The record brings back producers Shellback<\/strong> and Max Martin<\/strong>, who last worked with Swift on 2017\u2019s Reputation, and who have also worked with Britney Spears<\/strong> and Ariana Grande<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Taylor Swift Target variant<\/span> Target IG<\/span><\/p>\n The trio first collaborated<\/a> on Swift\u2019s 2012 release Red and cowrote three songs \u2014 \u201cWe Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,\u201d \u201cI Knew You Were Trouble\u201d and \u201c22\u201d \u2014 that are still considered to be her first major pop hits after she transitioned from country music.<\/p>\n Swift also tapped Shellback to help her rerecord 1989 (Taylor\u2019s Version) and Red (Taylor\u2019s Version).<\/p>\n Travis, 35, and Jason, 37, aren\u2019t the only Kelces excited about the release \u2014 their father, Ed Kelce<\/strong>,\u00a0also reacted to the news during an August 13 interview<\/a> with Australia\u2019s Today.<\/p>\n \u201cI knew nothing about this announcement,\u201d Ed confessed. \u201cI knew at some point the boys wanted to get her on the podcast, but I didn\u2019t know when it was coming up.\u201d<\/p>\n He did note that Swift has definitely been working since the conclusion of her Eras Tour in December 2024.<\/p>\n<\/span><\/div>\n
