Drake White<\/strong> and his wife, Alex White<\/strong>, are mourning the loss of their precious newborn, a daughter named Della Elizabeth White<\/strong>, who was born on\u00a0August 31, 2025, but sadly died shortly after birth.<\/p>\n In a joint post on social media, the married couple revealed the heartbreaking news, telling followers and friends that Della\u00a0\u201cwent peacefully to be with Jesus.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cOn Sunday,\u00a0August 31st, our precious daughter, Della Elizabeth White, went peacefully to be with Jesus,\u201d\u00a0the spouses began the Instagrammed post on Sunday, Sept. 7, which also included a black-and-white image of Alex holding her child in her arms while White wrapped an arm around his wife.\u00a0\u201cWe are so thankful for the holy moments God gave us with her.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThe Lord has been so near and close to us during this difficult time. He has held us up and sustained us through it all,\u201d\u00a0they added.\u00a0\u201cWe are heartbroken and soul tired, but we know we will get through this difficult time with the strength, peace, and joy that only our Heavenly Father can provide. May Della be held in the arms of Jesus until we see her again someday.\u201d<\/p>\n The loving couple, who are also parents to a son named William Hawk<\/strong>, went on to share two Psalms \u2014 34:18 and 31:10, 14-15.<\/p>\n \u201cThe Lord is close to the\u00a0brokenhearted\u00a0and saves those who\u00a0are crushed\u00a0in spirit. -Psalm 34:18,\u201d\u00a0they captioned before adding,\u00a0\u201cI am dying from my grief; my years\u00a0are shortened\u00a0by sadness. Misery has drained my strength; I am wasting away from within. But I am trusting you, O Lord, saying,\u00a0‘You are my God!’\u00a0My future is in your hands. -Psalm 31:10, 14-15.\u201d<\/p>\n Before closing out the devastating post, the Whites shared their\u00a0daughters’\u00a0milestone moments at birth, writing that Della was born at “29 weeks, 3lbs 3.5 oz, and 13.25 in. Born: Sunday,\u00a0August 31st\u00a02025, at 8:52 AM and peacefully went to be with Jesus at 9:12 AM.\u201d<\/p>\n After sharing the news of their incredible loss, White and Alex received several condolences from family and friends as well as from other artists.<\/p>\n \u201cMy heart aches for you. I know your sweet girl will always be in your heart and watching over you\ud83e\udd0d.\u201d<\/p>\n White and Alex announced they were expecting their second child back in May, with Alex telling\u00a0People<\/em><\/a> in an exclusive interview that the\u00a0couple\u2019s\u00a0baby girl was due in November\u00a0and\u00a0“We were able to conceive through IVF and had our frozen embryo transfer in March.
